I'm pleased to say that JMUG <www.jmug.org> is offering free POP3
email accounts to any LEM list subscriber. We are trying to provide
relief for those who are having problems with their ISP, particularly
@Home, bouncing messages and losing their "subscribed" status.
We run PowerMac servers with the latest version AppleShare IP, and
we're immune to CodeRed and all that other junk that gets passed
around. We have a dedicated email server on a T1. Our average
uptime is 100.%, and we have a backup power generator and secondary
servers in case of emergency. The servers are in a fully monitored
climate-controlled Center with battery backup and the like. You won't
have to worry about not getting list messages due to server failure.
Sam Burrish, the guy who runs the JMUG servers, is a true
professional and is very passionate about his work. Just ask his
ex-girlfriend.
