The first G4 was called Yikes. This because it's really just a Blue and
White G3 with a G4 processor. The computer has a 100Mhz Bus. I suspect your
PC133 ram is not compatible with this computer. Second the 2-2-2 sometimes
has problems with B&W G3s and Yikes G4s.
I know it's not the answer you wanted, but hey ram is so cheap right. Since
the Yikes G4 has 4 ram slots, buy 4 PC100 256Ram chips, I have seem them as
cheap as 23 dollars. Check deal-mac.com Just make sure they are 3-2-2 speed.
