I would have thought it meant any law in the world as the use of this
list is not restricted to US users only. If someone violates a law that
applies to your country (say Germany or the UK) you have the right to
complain as it is illegal as far as the person in that country is
concerned. By saying 'any law' he covered himself without actually
having to quote everyone's law in turn....
