What a coincidence ! I did exactly the same thing on almost the same
machine (B&W 400/512MB RAM/16GB HDD) last night. I d/led the patch
overnight (mine took the thick end of 5 hours as I'm sharing a PC modem
via Win2k). What is more I (predictably) got much the same result. I
have no 3rd Party hardware *in* my machine and only a Zip Drive and MS
Optical Wheelmouse on the USB so there were no extension problems. I
think it does run a *bit* better but what it has done for classic is yet
to be seen in OS X.
