Are you running OS 9.0.4? I've read @ xlr8yourmac that with some machines
running 9.0.4 the tray would open at loading of extensions. Solution was to
replace the CD/DVD driver with the version of OS 9.1. I don't hope this
problem has returned in 9.2(.1), b/c you say that it started again. You
didn't update to 9.2.1 lately?
