Well, DialPad for OS X seems to work quite well. I haven't been able to talk to anyone yet (only allows you to dial 5 mins to a US # (couldn't get any Canadian #s to work) for free and I only know 1 person's # in the US ;) but clarity is good. I managed to get my friend's voicemail (Texas), leave a message, and use the system to play the message back before sending it. The voicemail voice comes through clear as a whistle (and hardly *any* delay) and the message I left was pretty clear (but not as clear). FYI: I did this at 20:30 EST (Toronto, Ontario, Canada) on a B&W G3/450 OS X 10.0.4 with the Apple supplied microphone and the built-in speaker, and my access to the web is limited only by the 10BaseT hub I'm on (can't remember if I'm on a T3 or T5).
