I have the new Quicksilver 867 G4 (9.2) running an Orange Micro SCSI+Serial PCI card (a SCSI card that also adds two serial ports). I have the same exact scanner as you and it works fine using the original software. The newer software posted online at UMAX strangely does not seem to work though-- the plugins aren't recognized by Adobe Photodeluxe v1.1.
