I put norton on my adsl linked mac, problem was all the many logged attempts! Quite amazing but after a while not worth looking at. They were nearly all looking for windows or unix etc. I realised no one was going to hack my mac so i stopped bothering with the firewall and havent regretted it. You do very occasionally get an attempt logged that is apple based looking for appletalk and filesharing to be on.
