I run the 6100 without a monitor. I've got a couple of pins shorted on the
video card to simulate 1024x768 so that I can still use Timbuktu Pro. The
hardware routers aren't bad now days and for normal home use I'd recommend
them to anyone. For business use though I still prefer a dedicated machine.
IPNetrouter is much more than a router. It's also a fully configurable
firewall which allows me to control both incoming and outgoing traffic on my
network depending on a very large number of variables.
