hello, i have a g3 ibook (i use mac os 9.2.1) and i have come across a
curious problem. i have downloaded several things from the internet using my
hi speed internet connection (cox@home) and once the app is downloaded it is
nowehere to be found on the hard drive. when i use sherlock to try to find
what i have just downloaded i find that the app is in the "volume settings
folder" . it is an invisbale folder and for the life of me i cannot get to
the app that i have just downloaded. is the app forever lost in this invisble
limbo of the lost or can i make this "volume settings folder" show itself and
give me back the apps that i downloaded. any help in this matter will be
appreciated. thanks in advance, david m
