My Beige G3 chip is a 750 ver. 2.2 (aluminum) running at the ex-factory 300 MHz. My others are copper and run in 7600s and 8600s at 400 MHz. All from NewerTech (now out of business). I got the PowerLogix control panel from a G3-oriented download site. The author/copyright owner is: PowerLogix R&D, Inc. The "core temperature" feature is useful to see if, with all the additional drives and cards, the CPU is still running within acceptable limits. Also useful for doing the same when "clock chipping".
