Okay...the line out jack on the back of my beige MT is broken...this
happened when I (being the genius that I am) pulled the computer to the side
not realizing that the speakers wouldn't move with the computer...and I
guess the little contacts (metal thingies) inside the jack bent to the
side...so now the jack doesn't work and when I plug in the speakers it still
plays sound of the built in speaker.

Now...I can buy a used sound card off of ebay...or I can just get USB
speakers...what would anyone suggest? what about the apple soundsticks?  I
know they're a little pricey but I was considering the klipsch promedia
computer setup which is 180 anyway.
