Hi Kevin,

Many thanks for the response.  I had my Apple Cervice Technician install 
the 256MB memory card into my PB and he said that it did not work.   I did 
not see him do it so I will take it to the apple Store where I bought it 
and ask him to play around with it to see if he can solve the problem.   It 
might be because your G3 has a 266 mHz bus while mine is only 250 mHz.

Any other ideas foilks?
