Just the biggest way I stay humble is with a little sticker above my monitor
that says, "What have you learned today?".

It's also a great way to put a client at ease when you get the "doe in
headlights look" after just explaining why it's not a good idea to have one
big graphic as their homepage, ie:

"I know this all sounds greek to you, but don't feel bad about it... With
the state of things today there is just so much to know. If I was asked a
question on what you do, <insert client's profession/trade/skill here> I'd
be completely lost- there is too much knowledge that is picked up over the
years of developing a skill, so ask any questions you may have and we'll
explain all of them until you feel knowledgable enough with the process to
continue."

Heh, 6 times out of 10 they still won't get it, but just taking the time and
saying something like the above lets someone know that you respect their
knowledge base/frame of reference and feel much less insecure about not
quite knowing exactly what is going on.

Works well in every day life too. :)
