If just finished retrying itunes help, prefs, etc. even holding command & a few other combos..........no luck. To clarify the problem.......itunes displays a beautiful fascinating visual that will run with or without music. It's activated with the tool bar visuals ON or click the star. Then a white apple will appear & then the show starts. So far so good. Somewhere around the time I first installed itunes, I had an option to make that dispaly faster but rougher, or slower but smoother and I remember I changed that twice to decide which option I liked best. Also, you could choose to have your musical selection displayed on the light show.....or not. I chose to display. Now.......for example...I have smooth jazz selected as my listening choice and that info displays on the light show. It is annoying to me. I want to select....DON'T SHOW, and cannot find that control panel option which I know exists! It's a teeny weeny little thing that is becoming a small obsession.
