Chris, Are you using Toast as well? If so what version? Did you remove any iTunes/Apple extensions or Toast extensions?
P.S. After rebate, I paid about US$129 for the drive. Still, it would be nice to have an external that you can just unplug if things get hinky. --Doug Haker > Just tested it..
