Hi guys, I've had this problem for a while now: encoding at 192Kbps or higher with iTunes 1.1 and v2.0 (OS 9.1), sometimes creates pops and clicks. What is strange is that playing from the CD also makes the same thing! Playing the same CD in my personal CD player doesn't do this. I remember that in my 7500 G4 upgraded, iTunes never did this, under 9.1. What the heck is going on here?
I remember that the DVD player made the pops and clicks but I fixed that by disabling the system sounds. The iTunes problem persists. BTW, SoundJam does the same thing too.
