OK guys, I suspected a dirty DVD/CD lens being the culprit in the sound pops during CD playback and it was. Using an external CDRW, I am not only able to listen to CDs (via the SCSI chain, I was surprised by that), but I can also encode and play CDs without the sound pops I get with the internal DVD-RAM in my G4. Now, where can I find a DVD-RAM lens cleaner? I saw a few on the web, but $45 is a hefty amount to pay... Will a regular DVD lens cleaner do?
Thanks! paris __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Find a job, post your resume. http://careers.yahoo.com -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
