>Any suggestions? Indeed- I can suggest, or even recommend, the Formac ProFormance III+.
I run main monitor off one in a Beige G3/500/1MB. In UK we got RagePro chipsets in Beige desktop cases- mine started life at 266 MHz. It's absolutely stonking for Photoshop, Illustrator, Bentley Microstation (world's greatest CAD app before eedjits stopped supporting Mac platform). It's okay for gaming (Quake III) but if that was all I cared about I would have bought an ATI Nexus for much less folding. Or a Playstation and have done. I love the thing- you can probably get one cheap-ish these days if you snuffle around eBay etc. I'm about to see if I can obtain/hack a UNIX/LINUX driver for it. It's based around Permedia chipset. If any *NUX dons are out there and have any advice- it would be gratefully recieved... hope this helps Mike -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
