Yes. The "dog" is called FAXstf X from SmithMicro. Made  OSX native-

I paid $90 for it to find out that it will work only with an Apple Internal 
Modem ( must mean stock modem shipped with the unit ), and not the internal 
global village I now have installed in my B&W G4 500 / OS 10.1.3

BTW Does anyone have and apple internal modem for a B&W  lying  around in 
the junk box?
