Okay can anyone give me a rundown of the real differences between the regular ATI Radeon and the Radeon 7000??? So far it looks like, the 7000 uses the Radeon VE GPU instead of the normal Radeon.. Both have the same memory (both are also DDR). The 7000 goes to higher resolutions (unusable by me anyways) but only at 24 bit.. And it looks like the 7000 has multiple monitor support and a lot more connection options on it too..
So why is the regular Radeon $80 more?? Im looking at Mac Connection right now and checking the specs on both cards.. I want a new one bad (Quake 3 just cant hand with this ATI like it could with my Voodoo on my PC) but now Im confused!! And why the heck do the Mac ones cost so much more than the PC version anyways??? -- Chris http://www.descentrecords.com http://www.towelhead.net http://www.mp3.com/towelhead http://www.mp3.com/descent666 -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
