Ahhh.. I hate it when manufacturers do that..
Bought one of my 20 GB Maxtor ATA100/7200 drives at a computer show here in
town.. Was told it was ATA100, 7200RPM blah blah blah.. Couple months pass
and I am having some problems I begin to hope are not drive related..
Checked the website for info, and noticed the specs on my drive said ATA100,
5400 RPM.. The reason I bought it was due to the 7200RPM.. So I basically go
and scream at the vendor that he sold me some bunk shit.. He checks Maxtor's
site and tells me Im full of it.. Whats funny, I went back that day as well,
and they had changed the specs of the drive.. Hehehe..
