I've made the transition from OE 4.5 on my old Performa to the OE 5.02 on my
new Mac. It really felt strange at first, but I finally got used to it, and
my wife hasn't objected! It's OK for us. So I have not tried to go back.

Have you tried "Import" under the File Menu? OE 4.5 can import e-mails,
folders, and address/contacts lists from other packages, so it might be able
to do this from OE 5. The two versions use different database management
schemes, so I do not think you can directly copy the contents of the
Identities Folder in v5.02 to the OE User(s) Folder in v4.5.

If "Import" does not work, you should be able to get the answers you need at
Microsoft's web site: http://www.microsoft.com/
Hit the "Support Tab," then use FAQ and Newgroups. At Newsgroups, you can
ask like you do in this e-list.
Good Luck,
