The reason you can't play DVD's is because your DVD player in the B&W G3 is
hardware based. You took out the Rage 128 card which was your hardware
decoder. You need to put it back in in order to play DVD's. I have no
experience with the Sound Sticks, so I can't comment. The system Profiler
under the Apple menu should tell you what kind of memory you have installed.
