Hi everyone,

A quick question - does anyone know if a bad CD can cause a CD-RW drive to
go on the fritz? I have a Que! Firewire 12/10/32 drive, and it worked great
up until a few days ago. That was when I got a buffer underwrite error while
trying to burn a CD. Since then, it doesn't seem to like any CD I try - it
will automatically eject the disc with the message "Please insert a
recordable disc." I suppose it *is* possible that I've just been having
extremely poor luck with a succession of bad CDs, but it just seems odd.
This evening I'm going to buy some new CDs and see what happens then; but I
just wanted to find out in advance if it is indeed possible that my drive
has been damaged in any way.

Thanks!
