Hi

Just went thru this with my B&W with an internal GV Teleport 56K Modem that
I bought and installed.

The GV Teleport modem software is not carbonized for OSX. And if you go to
their old web site ( they were bought out) they stated that they have no
plans to update their software further than the latest upgrade to G3 and
OS9 compatibility

I trashed the GV modem and replaced it with the original stock Apple modem
for a B&W which I was able to buy for $25
