I recently bought a G3 beige DT too. I'm planning to transfer my SCSI Jaz
drive into it from my old Mac. I orderded an internal scsi cable tonight
with 3 connectors. I assumed the BEige G3's CD drive is Scsi and that I can
connect into that port; it currently has a short pair of narrow white ribbon
cables.
I didnt get a manual or spec booklet (or even a power cord for that
matter!) Now you have me wondering. I dont really understand the difference
between scsi and ide anyway but know they're different. The motherboard
doesnt seem very well labeled for novices.
