One thing that has never really been clear to me is whether the 
early Beige G3 233 Desktop can utilize the 7200 speeds of newer 
IDE drives. If I were to guess, I would say that it doesn't utilize the 
7200 speeds and your money would be better spent just buying 
the lesser expensive 5400; but this is only my guess and 
wondered if anyone has any technical expertise to dispute this or 
agree. Or any sites covering this topic would be nice too.
