I have recently successfully upgraded my beige G3 DT to G4 500, and have partitioned the 4gig drive into 2, 2gig partitions, one with 9.2.1 and the other with 10.1.4. My question is: What is the best way to move all my non-system apps (iPhoto, iMovie, etc.) to an external firewire drive so that I only have system stuff on the internal drive? This may seem simple to you, but I am worried that moving them and then deleting the originals from the internal drive might cause some unexpected problems. What is your advice?
I have enjoyed following this helpful list for the past week. I am impressed with the upgradeability(sp?) of that old G3. TIA. David -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
