10.1.2? You may want to upgrade to 10.1.4. It may have a few bug fixes for a
Beige G3 & for your video card.

Anyway, I don't see any reason Maya shouldn't run OK in anything beyond
10.1.1 (can't say for sure) & Apple doesn't make any three button mice. You
may have to get a Kensinton ADB three button mouse (provided Maya supports
it... which I doubt), or else invest in a PCI USB card and get any old
three-button USB mouse.
