Guys, the PCMCIA card (which I already have) works with a Mac, I've checked it in my 1400 laptop. What I need to make clear is that I am buying the PCI cradle ONLY. And dropping my existing card into it.
Some wireless mfrs make cradles that only work with their cards, this one is a standard PCMCIA cradle that will work with any card, not just wireless. And I need to decide in about 18 hours; it's a bulk buy, and we are getting them for about 1/4 retail, for which I am half-inclined to just take the risk, and on-sell it if I can't make it work. If anyone has any useful data, please mail me direct at [EMAIL PROTECTED], as I receive this list on bulk once a day. FYI, the Lucent/Agere, Enterasys and Cabletron 802.11b cards are identical apart from drivers and firmware, and they have exactly the same guts as an Airport card. They can even be flashed with the same firmware, of which, apparently, Lucent's are the best. Clae.
