I consider myself well versed in the MacOS and hardware aspects but I
am having problems.

I have an ATA-1394 Bridge that I know works for HDDs and I am trying
to use it to make my internet RW an external so I can keep my DVD
Drive in the box.

But it's coming up as an unsupported drive in drive setup when I have
media inserted. I tried placing one of the install discs I got with
the box in both drives, it only recognizes the drive on the Internet
ATA. I know that trick worked back in the day with SCSI external
drives to have a disc with a valid OS on it and it would load on the
desktop, so do any of the 'blessed' techs (which I will admit I am
not) know of a work-around for this?

TIA
