The newest Mac I own is a beige G3 266. I picked up this bargain "as is" monitor from the Small Dog Swap meet. It is an Apple 17" ADC CRT with the clear case. A beautiful monitor, but I don't know if I can get it to work until I either buy a G4 or an adapter. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to hook this thing up to my beige G3?
Small Dog has for sale an adapter for hooking up an old monitor to a new G4, but how about the reverse? Assuming I find the right adapter, what pitfalls might I find in using this new monitor with my old beige G3? Also, can anyone be so kind to steer me in the right direction for a manual for this monitor? Without breaking any laws, of course. The manual that I found at Apple was less than informative.
