Today I couldn't resist picking up a 19" SUPERMAC Color Monitor
Linotype. The price was just under $25, so I took a chance to see what
would happen if I hooked it up to my G3/233dt, which to date has been
able to handle just about everything I've been able to throw at it. But
I remember what happened when I tried to run a Radius Two-Page GrayScale
Display on a stock PPC6100. It didn't light up at all. This monitor has
three separate attachment points in the back where the Green, Red, and
Blue cables are each attached. When I fired everything up I just got
hundreds or thousands of streaks running across the face of the monitor
from left to right. :-(

Does this mean I've exceeded the capabilities of my stock G3 and need
to install some sort of video card or V-RAM? That would be OK. I hope it
doesn't mean the monitor is fried. Here's all the information I've
glaned off the back of this monitor:

SUPERMAC
STD 9751
19" Dual Mode Color Display
November 1991

STD 9751L
Linotype-Hell
Serial# 2005639

   All suggestions are welcome.

                                                    Jim / Taqwa91
