actually it's pretty easy. to my surprise and delight the screws with the tiny .050 socket head for a tiny allen wrench come out very easily. the screw behind a label thing is a classic and common trick, i've seen it lots of places. as far as techs, i don't think apple wants even techs to take it apart, apple techs generally aren't allowed to solder or do any real tech repair work. to apple the keyboard is a throw away if problems develop. it's nice that you can take it apart, they could have welded the plastic like on the mouse. i'd love to do some customizing on the mouse but there's no good way to take it apart so that you could get it back together again. the 3 screws under the keyboard keys were what i forgot, and it's nice the keycaps come off much more easily than on most keyboards.
