I beg to differ. Photoslop 7 isn't very happy with OS X. (I'm not very happy with 7 either). It crashes quite regularly with my over-sized images (100+ MB) & isn't by far as smooth as the OS 9 version on my 16 MB video card + 576 MB RAM G3/450. What I find is that while doing certain operations (Resize Canvas most frequently) and switching to another app Photoslop spontaneously exits. No crash note from the Finder, no error message in Photoslop (the only other app that does that to me is Classic). Perhaps it's because it's Carbonized? Eric. (PS I now don't even bother running PS 7 in OS X.
