Just an update - You CAN do it! I took my G3 B&W to the seller. With his 13W3 (sun) to VGA cable, it connected but didn't sync. We added a Sync On Green adapter from Software Integrators Inc., and it worked, at 1027x768@75, and 1280x1024@60!
Thanks to Philip for emailing me the schematic for making a cable. If you can add your own comments re. (preferably) buying, or building/hacking a 13W3 (Sun) to VGA cable, please reply to the list! FYI I'm in Australia. For fellow Aussies' info, the monitor was fifty bucks. Don't pay any more. There are lots around, according to many people. It works!
