how do i make an apple script automatically run on shutdown? i've tried putting it in the shutdown items, but it then pops up and gives me the choice of run or quit, and if it can't find the files it errors out and hangs in script editor, i'd like it to just run, and if it can't find the files ignore the error and let the machine shut down/restart. i've tried saving it as a compiled script, as an applet, and as a run only, as a run only clicking on it or putting it in the shutdown items makes it try to open in script editor, which of course it can't and i get an error message. has any one had luck with apple script under os 9.1? none of my old interarchy scripts want to run either. i haven't taken the time to thoroughly learn applescript yet but it's obviously straight forward, when it works. thanks.
