I am curious if mac ever put a rage pro chipset in a B&W ? I have an
oppertunity to buy one that is said to be out of a BW but it is only 4mb
and from the photos that Ive seen of it it looks a lot like < identical > to
a certian ATI Xclaim VR that I have compared it to < it has a rca and two
round type plugs on back - with a 15 pin connector on the back. it doesnt
look like the VR with the rageII chipset but looks like the VR with the
rage pro chipset.

I have no doubt that it would work and/or came out of a BW < which I have >
but ? is did mac put these stock in the BW's I need a native BW ati card
in order to run my dvd-rom < assuming I am able to also locate a daughter
card for it. > the retail ati's wont support the mpeg decoder daughter
card.

thanks much
Ralph
