Mikeal,

First off, you need to map the port 80 to your internal IP 
(192.168.1.x) -- default for Linksys. Then you need to check the 
outside to make sure it works.

Then contact Verizon and verify you can do what you are doing.

Then you need a DNS server, I will provide this for you for a few 
months for free, to make your IP address an FQDN (fully qualified 
domain name).

Now that you have that done you are pretty much good to go, but if 
you do this after Verizon says you have to pay more to do it you 
stand to lose your internet connection and possibly have legal 
proceedings. I just recently finally avoided that with TimeWarner.

Better safe than sorry, if you know what I mean.
