Hi,
it seems that I have finally succeeded in my attempts to move
my system to my new drive.
I think that my experience could be usefull to someone.
In my first attempts, the cloned drive would not start Classic and
there where another problems, for example, in OS X Disk Copy couldn't
mount disk images.
Months ago before installing OSX, I first installed in the future OSX
partition a clean OS 9.2.2, that should be used as Classic and made a
copy of it to CD-ROM.
My cloning procedure today was:
1) Cloning the OSX partition with CCC 1.3.1
2) Running the RepairPrivileges1.1 in the new OSX partition
3) Booting from my OS9 independent partition
4) Replace the System Folder, Applications (Mac OS 9) Folder and
Documents Folder that are in the new OSX partition with the original
ones in my Classic BackUp CD.
After that, I booted from my new disk and alls runs smoothly. The
first time that I started Classic, the system asked from which System
Folder, in order to prepare it for classic.
Thanks a lot Ryan and Mark for your support
Rgds, Fernando
By the way, the ST340016A is amazingly quiet. I can't heard it even
when my Yosemite is open.
