Sorry, I haven't seen that. I see Jobs pursuing his
trademark "rich man's Linux". As Linux and Java become
the world standard, the hardware differences will
become less and less meaningful; e.g. a MicroSpeed
trackball (the MacTrac 2.0, retails US $69) has no OS
X drivers (nec. to use Maya as one example) but has
Linux drivers for several kernels, all free, of
course.
