Hello This post is directed to those who have posted that they have installed (and tested) a pre-release, Beta version of OS 10.2
Can "you" post exactly your mac configuration used to install a bootable OS 10.2 system folder ? That is: 1. installed directly on an IDE volume connected to the MOBO or 2. installed on an IDE volume driven by a PCI IDE controller card or 3. installed on a SCSI volume driven by a SCSI PCI card Since I believe FW drives are non bootable, 1, 2 or 3 , above, would logically be the only combos available BTW. Here is where I am coming from; I could not re-install OS10.0 on my B&W without first removing all three of my installed PCI cards: ATI Rage Pro Video PCI card SIIG Ultra ATA 133/100 IDE PCI controller card Adaptec PD2930U SCSI PCI card After re-installing up to OS 10.1.5 on the "stock"MOBO volume , re-installing the three PCI cards and their associated volumes and second monitor returned my system to full up status This included using Carbon Copy Cloner to copy a bootable OS 10.1.5 to the volume driven by the SIIG 130/100 IDE controller albert -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
