I know it is an antique, but it has served me well. I have a StyleWriter 1500 that the ink cartridge just died. IIRC, the black cart is the same as the 2500, but I also seem to remember that the SW is based on a Cannon machine (BJC-10?) and I know that non Apple branded ink will be cheaper. Am I correct that it is based on the BJC 10? Or what printer is it based upon? I know this isn't a specific G question, but it is hooked up to a beige G3.
