Interesting, I get a lot of USB problems on my iBook, I suspect the code in OS X to be at fault but it's even more intriguing that you can over come some problems by using a PCI USB card, I'll have to give it a shot. I use a USB Digital Audio module and it stopped working properly in OS X 10.1. I wonder if A0 it'll work in Jaguar, b) it'll wok properly on my B&W and c) if a PCI USB card will fix it if it doesn't.....
