The newer Radeon is a 7000 PCI, and by most esitmates is a less powerful card by a margin. > On topic, does the GF2 have the goods to run Quartz Extreme? > Maybe via a hack or edited version of a Pbk driver? Yes (I hope!!), the eMac and the original 15" iMac FP, as well as the late Dig. audio G4 and the early G4 QS all have GeForce 2 MX 32MB cards. I don't think the acceleration will be all that pronounced on a PCI card but it'll definitely be there. > Off topic, does anyone know where I might find a discussion or example > of the differences between running various obsolete video chips & > Jagwhaah? No. I can tell you it runs pretty well on a Rage 128 GL but not well enough to match my obsession for great graphics ;) >>> Does this GF2 have dual monitor support to? >> Most likely not but you never know.
