This isn't the cheapest option, but sure was convenient for me. I went to CompUSA and noticed 2 USB PCI cards of interest. $14 for a 2 port and $20 for a CompUSA brand 4 port. Both said that they were Mac compatible. I went for the 4 port and it installed fine and worked on the first try with no modifications to the installed 10.2. It even works in Classic.
I had found the printer I wanted to buy (Epson 785epx) in stock and at a good price at WalMart of all places late at night and then needed a cheap USB card in a hurry so we could play with the new toy right away. WalMart actually had one on the shelf that looked like it wold work, but it was a 2 port for $20? I liked the 4 port for $20 better.
