A little off topic but anyways... I recently downloaded Mandrake Linux PPC vers. 8.2 as two ISO images (One for install and one for extras and documentation) I then tried to boot from the install CD by holding down the "C" key at startup (as per the instructions) on my Beige Desktop G3 266MHz and instead of booting from the CD, or into OS X which was the selected OS, it booted into OS 9. I thought maybe that the ISO image or the CD had somehow become corrupted or something, so I tried the same process on my iMac 500MHz (Snow) with the computer set up exactly the same way, and it booted from the CD properly.
If anyone has any suggestions as to what I could do or what the problem might be, it would be greatly appreciated. -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
