I am looking into getting an ATA card for a beige MT and I couldn't find any benchmarks on the various speed cards on a beige (barefeets only tested the ATA 100 on a G4 with 100Mhz bus speed).
Does the system bus, 66Mhz, on a beige limit the throughput on a PCI ata card? Is there any real speed difference by going with a 100 or 133 vs the 66 on a beige or will it only show up once I move up to a faster system? Does overclocking the system bus have any effect on these cards, good or bad? Thanks, Len -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
