List, On Sep 16, I asked the follow question in my e-mail entitled "Beige G3 upgrade with questions..." and I have found the answer and wanted to pass it on.

I found the answer on Apple's Knowledge Base in the document entitled "Mac OS: Display Resolution Switching as System Startup Time." My problem was that I had not plugged the monitor's ADB plug into the ADB port on the CPU; instead I plugged my keyboard into the ADB plug.
